Any recommendations on tours and things to do in New York?
January 22, 2009 - I came across this website www.nycityphotoshoot.com for this company New York City Photoshoot which organizes for a professional photographer to take you around New York's famous landmarks and take pictures of you by them. The pictures look really good so I am considering booking a photoshoot with them. Has anyone out there used them?
I am also considering seeing Jersey Boys. Would you recommend that?
I haven't used the New York City Photoshoot but it sounds interesting. I have lived outside NYC my entire life so I never needed to use it. The places I love to go in the city are the Metropolitan Museum, Statue of Liberty, South Street Seaport, and Rockefeller Center especially if you are going around the holidays. I didn't see Jersey Boys but I heard it was good. I loved Wicked it is awesome.
I haven't used them as a friend of the family does similar work but I have always heard great things about New York City Photoshoot from others as well as my friend. I have done both of these things and recommend them both highly. My husband and I took a New York City Photoshoot a few months ago when we visited New York and it was a lot of fun. And we were really impressed with the quality of the photos. Jersey Boys is a top show, you have to like Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons music though to appreciate it. Definitely both worthwhile New York experiences.

I can recommend maybe visiting the Madame Tussaud wax museum, its right in times square. Theres 6 or7 big rooms filled with true to life wax figures and even a hall of history with everybody from rudy giuliani to Abe lincoln to Ben franklin. Its a great day trip if you have a few hours to kill.
